SMS Messaging Terms

1. About this messaging program

FieldTempo is a field-service management platform operated by QuantumLoopLabs LLC. Businesses that use FieldTempo (for example, cleaning, lawn, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting companies) send text messages to their own customersthrough the Service. FieldTempo sends these messages on the business's behalf; each message identifies the business by name. Message types include:

• Appointment and job reminders
• “On the way” and arrival notifications
• Invoice and secure payment-link messages
• Service follow-ups and review requests
• Two-way replies to questions a customer sends the business

These are customer-care and account-related messages tied to a service you requested or received — not third-party marketing.

2. How customers opt in (consent)

A customer gives consent to receive text messages in one of the following ways. In every case, providing a mobile number and agreeing to be texted is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any service.

• Online booking form.On a business's public FieldTempo booking page, the customer enters their mobile number and checks a consent box that is unchecked by default. The exact language shown on that form is reproduced in Section 3 below.
• When a business adds you as a customer. A customer who contacts a business directly (by phone, in person, or in writing) provides their mobile number and agrees to receive job- and appointment-related texts. The business records that consent in FieldTempo before any message is sent.
• By texting a keyword. A customer can text STARTto the business's number to begin or resume messages.

3. The consent language shown at opt-in

This is the exact disclosure a customer agrees to on a business's FieldTempo booking page (the business's name appears where “[Business]” is shown):

The checkbox is unchecked by default; consent is recorded only if the customer checks it and provides a mobile number. You can view this exact opt-in on any FieldTempo business's live booking page.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with a business — for example, per scheduled job, appointment, invoice, or reply. You will not receive a fixed number of messages.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

6. How to opt out or get help

• Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages from that business.
• Reply START to opt back in.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@fieldtempo.com.

7. Privacy of your mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) strictly to transmit the messages you request. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
